A suspicious bomb plot supposedly derailed by the CIA will be used to usher in new and more intrusive “security” measures at airports in America.
It was reported on Monday that the CIA had foiled a plot out of Yemen by al-Qaeda to use a new kind of bomb that would be “undetectable” and capable of passing through airport security. The device is described by the Associated Press as an “upgrade” to the bomb the underwear bomber attempted to detonate on Christmas Day of 2009.
In December of 2010, Infowars.com reported that the supposed bomb used by Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab over Detroit would not have produced a blast large enough to penetrate the 5 mm thick aluminum alloy skin and the structural integrity of Northwest Airlines flight 253. A program that aired on the CBC demonstrated how in laboratory conditions the detonation method of igniting the PETN allegedly used by Abdulmutallab is difficult. According to the official story parroted by the corporate media, Abdulmutallab’s underwear bomb was designed to breach the plane’s fuselage, ignite the fuel tanks and cause a crash.
It was later discovered that the patsy Abdulmutallab was “deliberately and intentionally allowed to keep his US entry visa as the result of a national security override issued by an as yet unknown US intelligence or law-enforcement agency with the goal of blocking the State Department’s planned revocation of that visa,” Webster Tarpley wrote in December, 2010.
What we see here is a classic example of the use of a national security override on the part of subversive moles who are performing their most basic responsibility of protecting a patsy by preventing him from being arrested or otherwise interfered with until that patsy can perform his assigned task and produce the desired incident, with the goal of inducing an intensive political response in the form of a wave of public hysteria.
In addition to public hysteria, the false flag was used as a pretext to introduce naked body scanners in airports around the country.
“Within days or even hours of the bombing attempt, everyone was talking about so-called whole-body imaging as the magic bullet that could stop this type of attack,” writes James Ridgeway.
“You’ve got to find some way of detecting things in parts of the body that aren’t easy to get at. It’s either pat downs or imaging, or otherwise hoping that bad guys haven’t figured it out, and I guess bad guys have figured it out,” declared former Homeland Security boss Michael Chertoff, who served as a huckster for OSI systems, one of two companies licensed to sell full-body scanners to the TSA.
It was later revealed that naked body scanners do not work and would not have detected Abdulmutallab’s supposed bomb. In addition, the intrusive pat-downs now used by the TSA would also not have detected the bomb fitted into his underwear.
According to the Associated Press, the government currently has no plans to change security procedures at U.S. airports.
For now, the story serves as yet another round of propaganda in the war on terror, which is designed to last decades if not a century or more.
In the near future, however, the incident will likely be relived in order to subject air travelers to additional mandatory government molestation and force them to endure new cancer-causing technology.
CNN reports that “world powers” – corrupt states belonging to the Arab League and ultimately members of the European Union – are “mapping out a plan to deliver humanitarian aid” in Syria under the banner of “Friends of Syria.”
On Thursday, Secretary of State Clinton gave her blessing to a move to arm the Syrian opposition. CNN attempted to soften the deadly impact of Clinton’s move to initiate a fresh round of terror and murder by stating that “the opposition will find willing sources to supply them with munitions to counter the Syrian government onslaught blamed for thousands of deaths.”
“There will be increasingly capable opposition forces,” Clinton hinted. “They will from somewhere, somehow, find the means to defend themselves as well as begin offensive measures.”
The latest “Arab Spring” effort to impose a new political order in Syria arrives after months of corporate media coverage portraying the al-Assad regime as murderous while ignoring reports of CIA and NATO snipers killing civilians.
An Arab League report issued earlier this month revealed that the Free Syria Army and other “armed opposition groups” are currently engaged in killing civilians and police and conducting terrorist attacks targeting innocent civilians.
Former FBI interpreter and whistle blower Sibel Edmunds, former CIA officer Philip Giraldi, and a handful of others have reported on the U.S.-NATO-CIA campaign to undermine al-Assad and violently depose his regime, but this information had been routinely ignored by the establishment media.
An advance draft of the Friends of Syria plan calls for al-Assad to agree to an immediate cease-fire or face a “yet-to-be mentioned response” from the “world community.” It recognizes the Syrian National Council as a “credible representative of the Syrian people.”
In January, Haitham Maleh, a founding member of the executive committee of the Syrian National Council, called for murdering Syrian president Bashar al-Assad, his British wife and three children.
A proponent of the war on terror was left with egg on his face during a recent C-Span appearance when caller after caller hammered home the fact that the underwear bomber, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, was allowed to board Delta flight 253 by the U.S. government.
The victim of this ‘truth bomb’ was Mickey McCarter, a prominent mouthpiece for the military-industrial complex that relies heavily on the manufactured ‘war on terror’ to the tune of billions of dollars every year. McCarter is a journalist specializing in “homeland security matters” and has also worked for government agencies like the US Navy’s Bureau of Naval Personnel and the Defense Contract Management Agency.
After discussing the recent conviction of the underwear bomber with no mention of the fact that he boarded the plane only with the aid of the U.S. government, McCarter faced a barrage of callers who set him straight. The first caller immediately drew attention to Flight 253 passenger Kurt Haskell, an attorney who witnessed a well dressed Indian man force airport officials to let Abdulmutallab board the plane despite the fact that he had no passport and was on a terror watchlist.
“Why would a CIA agent….get that guy on the plane,” the caller asked, to which McCarter responded by claiming, “I am not familiar with the story,” before erroneously claiming that Abdulmutallab “raised no alarm”.
After initially claiming otherwise, the FBI finally had to admit that Kurt Haskell’s testimony was true. When Abdulmutallab signaled he wanted to call Haskell as a defense witness, it threatened to blow the whole case wide open. However, within 48 hours he mysteriously withdrew the call and admitted all eight counts of guilt.
The notion that McCarter, who bills himself as a terror expert, has no idea about Kurt Haskell’s testimony, FBI confirmation of the fact, in addition to media reports concerning how AbdulMutallab was helped on the plane by a well-dressed man, over two years after it was initially revealed, is dubious to say the least.
After a second caller again references Haskell’s testimony and makes the connection between the underwear bomber plot and the TSA’s invasive groping policy, he is cut off, before a third caller discusses how the event created the perfect pretext for the introduction of naked body scanners, which just happened to make a lot of money for security officials like Michael Chertoff who were heavily invested in them at the time.
The final caller again hits on the fact that Abdulmutallab was allowed to board the airplane, noting that Undersecretary of State for Management Patrick Kennedy told a hearing that the bomber was let on the plane because he was being tracked by intelligence agencies who ordered the State Department “not to deny a visa”.
This episode again underscores the fact that – as Hillary Clinton bemoaned last year – we are winning the infowar. Informed Americans in growing numbers are successfully waking up their fellow citizens to the fact that the war on terror is a manufactured hoax wherein intelligence agencies recruit patsies and dupes to carry out attacks which are then used to advance the agenda of the military-industrial complex.

As he campaigned for the presidency in 2007 and 2008, then Sen. Barack Obama made clear there would be no torturing of terrorism suspects on his watch, as had been done by the agency with White House and Justice Department approval during the Bush administration in the years following the 9/11 attacks.
That was in 2009, shortly after becoming president. But with the campaign over, now came the bitter reality of actually having togovern. As president, one of the things Obama, the new commander-in-chief, was expected to do was to continue successful prosecution of the so-called Global War On Terror begun Sept. 12, 2001. To do that would require action, not campaign promises. And action meant sticking with what worked.
That’s why, despite public protestations and campaign-like slogans of “change,” Obama used a presidential sleight of hand to disapprove torturingon U.S. soilwhile granting the CIA authority to continue the practice in countries whose record on human rights abuses was already well-known.
This is why the president, bowing the realities of office rather than the seductive sound bites of a campaign, agreed to allow the continuance of most other Bush-era anti-terrorism CIA tactics that may be distasteful to the well-heeled elite but that are vital to protect the integrity and national security of the world’s most powerful democracy.
In a soon-to-be released PBSFrontlinedocumentary John Rizzo, a top CIA lawyer, says the incoming Obama administration may have tut-tutted the agency’s anti-terrorism tactics on the campaign trail but went on to “endorse” nearly all of them when the time came to take over the reins of power.
“I was part of the transition briefings of the incoming Obama team, and they signaled fairly early on that the incoming president believed in a vigorous, aggressive, continuing counterterrorism effort,” Rizzo says in the documentary.
“Although they never said it exactly, it was clear that the interrogation program was going away. We all knew that,” he continued. “But his people were signaling to us, I think partly to try to assure us that they weren’t going to come in and dismantle the place, that they were going to be just as tough, if not tougher, than the Bush people.
“With a notable exception of the enhanced interrogation program, the incoming Obama administration changed virtually nothing with respect to existing CIA programs and operations,” he said. “Things continued. Authorities were continued that were originally granted by President Bush beginning shortly after 9/11. Those were all picked up, reviewed and endorsed by the Obama administration.”
The Obama administration should be commended for its efforts to protect the nation from the growing global terrorist threat. Having said that, it would be a refreshing change of pace for the current White House to not just admit the preceding administration’s hard-core strategy of doing what it took to prevent future 9/11′s was effective, but also worthy of repetition.
In addition to calling for war crime prosecutions against NATO for killing Libyan civilians, Rep. Dennis Kucinich wants to know if the CIA had a hand in the effort to overthrow Gaddafi and install al-Qaeda.
“Was the United States’ Central Intelligence Agency involved in planning for regime change prior to events in February and March in Benghazi? Did the CIA and its assets have a role in fomenting a civil war?” Kucinich writes on his House web page.
The CIA has a long history of overthrowing regimes and leaders disfavored by the global elite. In the past, the CIA worked on "the dark side" – as Dick Cheney might put it – and tried to hide its participation in violent coups and assassinations. Since September 11, 2001, and the subsequent war on terror, however, the agency has worked out in the open and without pretense or explanation. It has not bothered to cover up its rendition program – its global kidnapping program – and has conducted an illegal war in Pakistan’s tribal region that makes headlines every couple weeks or so.
On March 30, the New York Times announced the CIA’s “clandestine” effort to insert operatives in Libya to aid the so-called rebels, later exposed as al-Qaeda. At the time of the report, the operatives had been in the country for several weeks.
In addition to the CIA, operatives from MI6 and British intelligence were present, according to the Times: “British officials said that dozens of British special forces and MI6 intelligence officers are working inside Libya. The British operatives have been directing airstrikes from British jets and gathering intelligence about the whereabouts of Libyan government tank columns, artillery pieces and missile installations, the officials said.”
The Times said the CIA was in Libya “to fill in gaps in understanding” of who the rebels are and their allegiances. As usual, the Times does not deviate from its Pentagon generated script. In fact, the CIA fashioned the “Arab Spring” rebels out of remnants of al-Qaeda and other assets. One rebel leader, Khalifa Haftar, is a long time CIA operative, a fact revealed by Reuters on April 1.
Former CIA informer Walter Pincus, writing for the crown jewel of the CIA’s Operation Mockingbird, the Washington Post, said Haftar and his Libyan National Army opposed Gaddafi “allegedly with backing from the CIA and Saudi elements.” Haftar’s “group is supported by the U.S., and has been given training facilities in the U.S. It’s a good presumption that Col. Haftar’s group operates in Libya with the blessings of our government,” Enver Masud wrote for The Wisdom Fund in 1996.
The CIA’s fingerprints are all over the Gaddafi opposition movement, from the Libya National Army to the National Salvation Front and the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group.
Dennis Kucinich has plenty of evidence that the CIA orchestrated the plot to overthrow Gaddafi and grab Libya. He now needs to hold hearings exposing the CIA’s dirty deeds the same way Senator Frank Church did in the 1970s.
As Rep. Ron Paul has noted, the CIA is a “government unto themselves. Their in businesses, their in drug businesses… and… they take out dictators. We need to take out the CIA.”
During an NPR interview of New York Times veteran reporter Thom Shanker, who co-authored Counterstrike: The Untold Story of America’s Secret Campaign Against Al Qaeda, we learn that the Pentagon routinely pretends to be al-Qaeda:
“What the American military intelligence can do is forge the watermarks or certification of official al-Qaida postings,” says Shanker. “American cyber technology is so advanced that they can have a near perfect re-creation of an al-Qaida message — and what they’re doing from time to time is going on jihadi websites and posting conflicting and contradictory orders, statements that raise doubt about who the jihadis should follow and who is really in charge … and the goal is to really disrupt the entire network by sowing dissent and confusion. We’ve been told they’ve had some great success at that.”
In other words, we have no way of discerning between the “real” al-Qaeda and the facsimile created by the Pentagon and the CIA.
Claims that al-Qaeda videos are fake and the discrepancy of “fat” and “Grecian formula” Osama bin Ladens are usually ignored by the corporate media or dismissed as conspiracy theories. Shanker’s report from the Pentagon lends credence to skeptics who insist al-Qaeda is not what the government says it is.
This denial persisted even after the CIA admitted faking al-Qaeda videos and having its employees dress up and act like the dead Osama bin Laden.
Not that it matters. For instance, the New Osama, Anwar al-Awlaki, dined at the Pentagon – a fact reported by Fox News – but this did not jive with the official Pentagon generated narrative, so it was ignored.
This new information will either be ignored or the professional script-readers who pretend to be journalists will fail to connect the dots, as usual.
The essence of Doublethink, after all, is the act of simultaneously accepting two mutually contradictory beliefs as correct. Normally, such information creates cognitive dissonance – the uncomfortable feeling caused by holding conflicting ideas simultaneously – but in the bizarro world that is the forever war of manufactured terror, this no longer applies.
The Pentagon can now brazenly admit it creates terrorism and we are expected to assimilate this without question or further intellectual processing. If we point out the obvious, we are either ignored, dismissed as insane – a favorite tactic of neocons such as Newt Gingrich – or accused of aiding and abetting the enemies of freedom.
In 2007, an ailing former CIA operative, E. Howard Hunt, said former president Lyndon Baines Johnson was directly connected to the JFK assassination and its cover-up. Others close to Johnson also indicated the Texan was complicit in the assassination of Kennedy.
The former first Lady, the late Jackie Kennedy, also believed Johnson and cabal of Texas tycoons were involved in the assassination of her husband, according to a report posted on the Mail Online website.
Secret tapes recorded by historian Arthur Schlesinger, Jr., soon after the assassination reveal the widow’s belief that the vice president had colluded with Southern businessmen to kill Kennedy in Dallas on November 22, 1963. Lee Harvey Oswald was part of a larger conspiracy, she said.
Following the murder, Kennedy married Greek shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis. She ordered the tapes to be released 50 years after he death to protect the family, but her daughter, Caroline Kennedy, has agreed to release the tapes ahead of the deadline. Jackie Onassis died 17 years ago from cancer aged 64.
It is said Caroline Kennedy agreed to release the tapes to ABC in exchange for the network dropping a drama series about her family.
“Having Kennedy liquidated, thus elevating himself to the presidency without having to work for it himself, could have been a very tempting and logical move on Johnson’s part,” the late E. Howard Hunt wrote in his book, American Spy: My Secret History in the CIA, Watergate & Beyond. “LBJ had the money and the connections to manipulate the scenario in Dallas and is on record as having convinced JFK to make the appearance in the first place.”
In early 2007, Hunt’s son, Saint John Hunt, said he had received a tape recording from his father in which he revealed his role in the assassination.
Johnson had “an almost maniacal urge to become president, he regarded JFK as an obstacle to achieving that,” Hunt said.
“The pornography recovered in bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, consists of modern, electronically recorded video and is fairly extensive, according to the officials, who discussed the discovery with Reuters on condition of anonymity.”
These “officials” were unable to explain how there came to be an “extensive” stash of electronic porn in a house that had no Internet connection.
But the real story behind yet another ludicrous turn in the manufactured Osama fable is the fact that CIA spooks admitted to creating fake videotapes which featured an actor dressed up as Bin Laden bragging about how he liked to have sex with boys.
In Bin Laden’s case, the spooks, “Actually did make a video purporting to show Osama bin Laden and his cronies sitting around a campfire swigging bottles of liquor and savoring their conquests with boys,” a former CIA officer told the Post’s Jeff Stein.
The actors were drawn from “some of us darker-skinned employees,” he added.
We also learn that the CIA’s fake Bin Laden tape operation, not a conspiracy theory but an admitted fact, was subsequently taken over by crack psychological warfare personnel at Fort Bragg, the army’s special warfare center, which was presumably responsible for the dubious Bin Laden tapes released by the White House last weekend.
So having admitted to the fact that they produced fake videotapes of “Bin Laden” bragging about having sex with boys, the same intelligence complex, that has been caught over and over again lying about the alleged Bin Laden raid, now tells us that they found a huge stash of downloaded porn in a house that had no Internet connection.
This is P2OG in full force – the Bush-era black-ops program designed to “stimulate reactions” amongst terrorists – it’s like repeatedly hitting a wasp nest with a stick. They won’t need to pull a false flag because by deliberately enflaming anger throughout the Muslim world with continual taunts about how Bin Laden was gunned down in cold blood in his pajamas, about how he cowered and threw his wife in front of the gun, about his perverted porn stash, the Obama administration is virtually guaranteeing the backlash from which they will then reap the political capital.
We were told that Obama and his White House staff had agreed to put a lock down on any information about the raid as soon as it was announced, in order to harness the presumed intelligence value of the material in the compound and keep “Al-Qaeda” second guessing.
Instead, the American people have been bombarded with endless lurid tails about terrorists planning to attack trains, the intricate details of Bin Laden’s fearsome personal diary, and a myriad of other PR stunts that prove there’s no effort to harness the intelligence at all – most likely because it’s as phony as the ludicrous notion that Bin Laden’s house was full of porn.
Whatever next will they claim in an effort to ensure that the Bin Laden fairytale continues to dominate the news cycle? Perhaps next we’ll be told it was gay porn, or bestiality? Maybe they’ll discover Bin Laden’s sex doll. The fable has already scaled such heights of absurdity – don’t be surprised by anything.
President Barack Obama has decided not to release any of the photographs of “the deceased Osama bin Laden,” White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said Wednesday.
The decision came after a lengthy discussion with top Cabinet and security officials, Carney said, reiterating “there is no doubt we killed Osama bin Laden.”
Carney cited security concerns as well as the desire to avoid a perception of U.S. gloating.
“We don’t trot out this stuff as trophies,” Carney quoted Obama as saying in an interview earlier Wednesday with the CBS program “60 Minutes.”
The notion that the US was only aware of Bin Laden’s precise location for a matter of months before they executed their alleged raid of his compound in Pakistan is an insult to the truth, which is that the US knew the Al-Qaeda leader’s precise whereabouts before 9/11 and also protected him from capture on numerous occasions afterwards.
A year after the FBI had issued a global arrest warrant for Bin Laden following his alleged involvement in the 1998 Nairobi and Kenya embassy attacks, British tourists Alan and Cindy Thompson were traveling through Pakistan when they stopped off at a town called Zhob.
After driving for 11 hours on dirt roads they came to a checkpoint and were detained by armed Pakistani guards. The Thompsons later discovered that they were stopped because they had discovered the secret lair of Osama Bin Laden, before being told by American aid workers that the location had been visited by US consulate officers, British, Australian, and Swiss ambassadors, and that it was guarded by a team of US commandoes.
The aid workers also told them that they had been forced to move their offices because of a similar experience in Kandahar, where they ended up stationed right next door to Bin Laden.
After the couple were picked up by the British embassy they were invited to a garden party where all the British ambassadors and aid workers were bragging that they were stationed in the same area as bin Laden’s secret hideout.
The Thompsons tried to alert the FBI and Scotland Yard to the astounding information, but were completely ignored.
“We were gobsmacked,” said Cindy Thompson. “We found it incredible that we were offering to give first hand true information about the most wanted man in the world and the US embassy couldn’t even be bothered to get off their butts…it is about time that this story is told to the world to let the people know the truth…the hunt for bin Laden is a farce.”
The account was reported on at the time by Pakistan’s Dawn newspaper and the Thompsons later confirmed it to author Kenyon Gibson, who related the story in his book, Common Sense: A Study of the Bushes, the CIA and the Suspicions Regarding 9/11.
In December 1998, Bin Laden was located in Kandahar but Bill Clinton refused to authorize military action.
In February 1999, Bin Laden stayed at a hunting camp in Afghanistan’s Helmand province for more than a week, but after US intelligence pinpointed the exact location, authorization for an assault never came.
US intelligence again located Bin Laden’s location in Kandahar in May 1999 but took no action.
In October 2004, the San Bernadino Sun reported that, “The Pentagon knows exactly where Osama bin Laden is hiding in Pakistan,” according to 9/11 Commission member John Lehman, who said that his capture was being delayed because there were too many Taliban fighters in the area.
“There is an American presence in the area, but we can’t just send in troops. If we did, we could have another Vietnam, and the United States cannot afford that right now,” said Lehman.
“Look,” he said, “Musharraf already has had three assassination attempts on his life. He is trying to comply, but he is surrounded by people who do not agree with him. This is not like Afghanistan, where there was no compliance, and we had to go in.”
“We’ll get (bin Laden) eventually, just not now,” concluded Lehman.
In 2006, a French documentary also claimed that French soldiers had Bin Laden in their sights on two occasions in 2003, but authorization to kill or capture the leader was not forthcoming from US authorities.
Colonel Hunt subsequently wrote an article for Fox News in which he stated, “We know, with a 70 percent level of certainty — which is huge in the world of intelligence — that in August of 2007, bin Laden was in a convoy headed south from Tora Bora. We had his butt, on camera, on satellite. We were listening to his conversations. We had the world’s best hunters/killers — Seal Team 6 — nearby. We had the world class Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) coordinating with the CIA and other agencies. We had unmanned drones overhead with missiles on their wings; we had the best Air Force on the planet, begging to drop one on the terrorist. We had him in our sights; we had done it. Nice job again guys — now, pull the damn trigger.”
“Unbelievably, and in my opinion, criminally, we did not kill Usama bin Laden.”
Despite the fact that US intelligence knew Bin Laden’s precise location in Pakistan more than a decade ago and deliberately failed to apprehend the terror leader on numerous occasions in the years since, Pakistan itself is now being targeted with threats for that very same reason.
Bin Laden was allegedly shot dead in his compound at Abbottabad, which is virtually a stone’s throw away from an important Pakistani military academy. President Barack Obama’s counterterrorism adviser John Brennan told NPR that it was “possible” that members of Pakistan’s military knew Bin Laden was hiding in the compound.
Pakistan’s ISI intelligence agency is tied at the hip with the CIA, to the extent where it is basically a branch of the Central Intelligence Agency.
Bin Laden’s shocked neighbors have told the media of their disbelief that Bin Laden or his aides could have lived in the town without being noticed. Indeed, one man who lived next door to the compound raided by US Navy SEALS told Al Jazeera that residents in the area carry documents because they are constantly asked to identify themselves by military forces.
Talking points centering around the notion that Pakistan knew all along that they were sheltering Bin Laden are likely the culmination of a blackmailing process and in retaliation to massive unrest in Pakistan over the US Predator drone strikes which have killed hundreds. Saudi Arabia is also being blackmailed in light of the contrived “Arab Spring,” which has been hijacked by globalist interests and is now being used as a threat to destabilize the Saudi Kingdom.
The globalists could quickly isolate Pakistan and make them the next target of the ‘war on terror’ by claiming they were in league with Osama Bin Laden, when in reality Bin Laden’s whereabouts were well known to US intelligence all along because he was their prize asset.
In a gruesome game of wait and see, the CIA is drawing out the release of photos its claims show a double-tapped Osama bin Laden.
Leon Panetta, Obama’s director at the CIA, told Brian Williams of “NBC Nightly News” today the agency would eventually present a photograph and pawn it off as evidence. In the meantime, we will be obliged to wait on pins and needles.

Earlier today, Obama decided to release at least one photo showing Osama Bin Laden’s death, according to Drudge Report. The image reportedly shows a bullet wound to his head above the left eye, according to reports.
CNN reported the White House and the CIA are locked in deliberation whether to release a photo.
There is a school of thought inside the White House, according to CNN, that the photo release is unnecessary because there is “no question” that bin Laden is dead, a senior administration official told CNN’s Gloria Borger.
In addition, Panetta said Osama did not put his hands up and surrender and this is why he was executed.
Similarly, following the events of September 11, 2001, the government expected the American people to believe that Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda were responsible for the attacks without providing any evidence. After the Bush Administration agreed to hold an investigation, it insisted on appointing Henry Kissinger as chair of the commission.
Commission chairmen Lee H. Hamilton and Thomas H. Kean accused the CIA of impeding their investigation and destroying videotapes documenting the interrogations of two alleged al-Qaeda operatives.
The story coalescing around the unverified assassination is similar to the Jessica Lynch and Pat Tillman stories that were grossly exaggerated and outright fabricated by the Pentagon and the corporate media in order to feed the war on terror narrative.
In 2003, the German television show Tagesschau revealed that stories of PFC Jessica Lynch’s heroism fighting against her Iraqi captors until she supposedly ran out of ammunition were outright lies and cynical war propaganda. The Washington Post in particular collaborated with the Pentagon to feed the American people the Lynch bravery fairy tale.
“In America it doesn’t matter any more what is right or wrong,” John MacArthur, editor of Harper’s Magazine, wrote at the time. “The public is conditioned to believe everything: no matter if it is emotional stories or lies on weapons of mass destruction.”
Likewise folk lore was spun to make the late Army Ranger Pat Tillman out to be a hero and an iconic representation of a brave American who selflessly gave up a promising football career to fight the evil of al-Qaeda.
An official Army press release announced his Silver Star citation and said he had stormed a hill to take out the enemy as he “provided suppressive fire with an M-249 Squad Automatic Weapon machine gun.”
In fact, the entire story was a fabrication. Tillman, the Pentagon later claimed, had died as a result of friendly fire.
It was later revealed that Tillman was killed because of his disillusionment with the war in Afghanistan and the threat he posed as a potential anti-war figure.
On July 27, 2007, Paul Joseph Watson wrote that medical examiners concluded that “there was no evidence whatsoever of friendly fire, but the ballistics data clearly indicated that the three head shots had been fired from just 10 yards away and then the Army tried to concoct a hoax friendly fire story.”
The current hyperventilation by the corporate media over the Osama bin Laden story, minus absolutely any corroborating evidence, is indicative of another Pentagon pysop and propaganda offensive designed to blindside the American people and pump new life into the flagging war on terror.
If the cheering crowd at midnight outside the White House is any indication, the American people are ready to support more mass murder in the Middle East.
The supposed hit on Osama – without shred of evidence short of an image badly mangled in Photoshop that was debunked in short order like Obama’s birth certificate – will be used to reinvigorate the war on terror precisely at a time when new enemies are being manufactured in Africa.
Osama’s unverified assassination arrives on the heels of large protests in Pakistan over the CIA’s illegal drone attacks. More than a week ago, activists in Pakistan managed to blockade supplies headed to U.S. occupation forces in Afghanistan.
The Pakistani government has publicly condemned the drone strikes as undermining its sovereignty. Earlier this month, the country lodged a formal complaint with Washington over the use of CIA-run Predator drones.
The U.S. announced it plans to expand the war to Syria when Obama released an executive order to enforce new and more stringent sanctions against the Arab country and appealed to European North Atlantic Treaty Organization allies to do likewise.
In addition to providing additional momentum for the flagging war on terror, the staged assassination of a terrorist with ties to the CIA who died almost ten years ago serves to distract the easily distracted masses away from serious economic dangers, most notably the engineered fall of the dollar as the world’s reserve currency and the related escalation of gas, food and commodity prices.
It is not certain if the government will use this unverified and unverifiable assassination – now that we are told Osama was buried at sea – as a pretext to engage in a false flag attack to further boost the wars and occupations abroad and expand the police state at home.
If the throng of chortling murder worshippers outside the White House last night is any indication of larger sentiment around the country in the wake of this fake assassination, it will not take much for the government to convince the people to support more mass murder in foreign lands and the continued debasement and destruction of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
The Libyan Government says al-Qaeda is involved in the nation’s uprising and has hinted that a “very well known leader” of the organisation is involved.
“The involvement of al-Qaeda in the conflict in Libya is proven every day,” said Musa Ibrahim during a news conference. “We believe it’s very dangerous if these people establish themselves in this country, have control of its future, its immense wealth a footstep from Europe.”
Ibrahim said his government had information that “the famous Abdelhakim Al-Hasadi, the very famous al-Qaeda leader, who has a jihadist history and fought in many countries including Iraq and Afghanistan”, had left the eastern city of Benghazi for besieged Misrata.
Anwar Al-Awlaki may be the first American on the CIA’s kill or capture list, but he was also a lunch guest of military brass at the Pentagon within months of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks, Fox News has learned.
Documents exclusively obtained by Fox News, including an FBI interview conducted after the Fort Hood shooting in November 2009, state that Awlaki was taken to the Pentagon as part of the military’s outreach to the Muslim community in the immediate aftermath of the attacks.
The incident was flagged by a current Defense Department employee who came forward and told investigators she helped arrange the meeting after she saw Awlaki speak in Alexandria, Va.
Following the false flag attack on September 11, 2001, the Bush administration announced it planned to go after the so-called “axis of evil,” specifically Iran, Iraq and North Korea. Following Bush’s January 2002 speech, United Nations ambassador John Bolton quietly added three countries to the list – Syria, Libya and Cuba.

For a time, Libya was removed from the hit list after Muammar Gaddafi agreed to abandon his WMD program. Gaddafi’s announcement was treated with much fanfare and touted as an accomplishment in the bogus war on manufactured terror. The Libyan dictator has wanted diplomatic relations with the United States since U.N. sanctions were imposed on the country in 1992. In fact, Libya has struggled for international legitimacy since 1986 when transnational oil corporations began abandoning the country, at least publicly.
Syria cooperated with the United States following the September attacks, but this did not prevent a propaganda campaign against the country, including the assertion (cooked up by the Israelis) that Iraq’s missing WMD were moved to Syria.
I said, “Are we still going to invade Iraq?” “Yes, Sir,” he said, “but it’s worse than that.” I said, “How do you mean?” He held up this piece of paper. He said, “I just got this memo today or yesterday from the office of the Secretary of Defense upstairs. It’s a, it’s a five-year plan. We’re going to take down seven countries in five years. We’re going to start with Iraq, then Syria, Lebanon, then Libya, Somalia, Sudan, we’re going to come back and get Iran in five years. I said, “Is that classified, that paper?” He said, “Yes Sir.” I said, “Well, don’t show it to me, because I want to be able to talk about it.”
The Bush neocon clique considered the overthrow of Syria an important element in its war against Muslims and Arabs in the Middle East.
In late 2005, Richard Perle, at the time described as the Prince of Darkness, attended a meeting at the home of Farid Ghadry, the head of the Syrian Reform Party. Ghadry had met with Dick Cheney to strategize about regime change in Syria. He told the Wall Street Journal that Perle’s pal Ahmad Chalabi “paved the way in Iraq for what we want to do in Syria.” Ghadry was close to major players in the neocon think-tanks and foundations.
Or put more frankly, the Bush neocons and their “thinkers” (as Bush called them), envisioned the same sort of widespread destruction of civilian infrastructure, social support sytems and staggering loss of human life in Syria as they had successfully inflicted on Iraq.
Now we learn that this concerted effort to violate Syria’s national sovereignty and meddle in its internal affairs was passed on from the Bush neocons to apparatchiks in the Obama administration.
“The State Department has secretly funded Syrian opposition groups, according to diplomatic cables released by WikiLeaks,” the Washington Post reports today.
The cables reveal the State Department has funneled around $6 million since 2006 to a group of Syrian exiles to operate a London-based satellite channel, Barada TV, and finance activities inside Syria, according to the newspaper.
Syria is the next piece on the geopolitical chessboard.
“What happened in Georgia with the Rose Revolution and Orange Revolution in Ukraine in 2003-2004 was part of a long-term strategy orchestrated by the Pentagon, the State Department and various US-financed NGOs like Freedom House and National Endowment for Democracy to create pro-NATO regime change in those former Soviet Union areas and to literally encircle Russia,” author and researcher William Engdahl told RT in January.
”What is going on in the Middle East with the Jasmine Revolution in Tunisia that we saw a few days ago, and now in Egypt with Mubarak in his 80s, and obviously a regime that is not exactly the most stable one, we have a food crisis taking place as a backdrop and the IMF coming and telling these countries to eliminate their state food subsidies so you have, of course, the explosive background for popular unrest. Within that you have these NGOs, like Freedom House, training activists and trade unions and various other organizations to demand democracy, demand human rights and so forth,” he added.
The Wikileaks cables reveal an intimate relationship between several Syrian exile groups and the State Department through a program called the Middle East Partnership Initiative. The State Department funneled money through the Democracy Council, a Los Angeles-based NGO. The group is praised by folks associated with the United Nations and RAND corporation.
According to the cables, the Democracy Council received $6.3 million from the State Department to run a Syria-related program called the “Civil Society Strengthening Initiative.” That program is described as “a discrete collaborative effort between the Democracy Council and local partners” to produce, among other things, “various broadcast concepts.” Other cables make clear that one of those concepts was Barada TV, according to the Post.
In late March, Secretary of Defense Gates instructed the Syrian military to depose leader Bashar al-Assad and “empower a revolution.”
“I’ve just come from Egypt, where the Egyptian army stood on the sidelines and allowed people to demonstrate and in fact empowered a revolution. The Syrians might take a lesson from that,” Gates added.
A CNN Arabic poll conducted in 2009 revealed that Syrian leader Assad is one of the most popular leaders in the Arab world.
Every once in a while, establishment control of the mainstream media cracks for a moment. In an effort to achieve higher ratings, mainstream news programs will invite guests on that promise to be “interesting”, but then they will say something that is not part of the script and the entire system will go into a state of chaos for a moment. One example of this happened recently when two CNN “infobabes” interviewed former CIA officer Michael Scheuer about the situation on the ground in Libya. They asked Scheuer some questions regarding the role of the CIA in Libya, but the interview rapidly moved in some directions that the “infobabes” were not anticipating. Instead of sticking to the “Republican” or the “Democrat” script, Scheuer ripped both parties and he detailed many of the reasons why we should have never gone into Libya at all.
The “infobabes” grew increasingly uncomfortable as Scheuer described how large numbers of the resistance fighters in Libya have fought against U.S. troops in the Balkans, in Afghanistan and in Iraq. They did not seem pleased at all when Scheuer declared that the civil war in Libya is “none of our business” and that to the rest of the world this conflict looks like “Americans killing Muslims for oil” all over again.
The funniest part of the interview was when Scheuer accused one of the “infobabes” of “carrying the water for Mr. Obama”. After that statement, the female anchor that Scheuer was addressing was visibly flustered and quickly went to a commercial.

When a big time establishment news network such as CNN goes “off script” it can be a beautiful thing to watch.
Of course Scheuer was exactly right. We never should have gotten involved in the civil war in Libya. It was none of our business. When the rebels picked up arms and started shooting at government forces, they should not have been surprised when Gadhafi’s forces started shooting back.
Over the past few decades, there have been some very real genocides happening all over Africa, but the U.S. never seemed to care about any of those.
But now the mainstream media has been trying really hard to spin the civil war in Libya into a “great humanitarian crisis”.
Well, that might fool some of the American people, but as Scheuer aptly pointed out, the rest of the world sees this as just another U.S. war in the Middle East for oil (and banking).
But instead of getting a balanced view of the war in Libya, most of the time the corporate media has focused on an endless parade of establishment Republicans and establishment Democrats that fully endorse the war. Of course the Republicans all try to score some political points by questioning how Obama is going about doing things, but in the end most Republicans and most Democrats are fully on board with what is going on in Libya.
Nearly everyone in the mainstream media seems to be fully on board with this war as well.
Why?
Well, because virtually all of the major media outlets are owned by the establishment, and the establishment wants this war.
Have you ever noticed that the news seems to have the same “flavor” no matter what channel you turn to?
There is a very good reason for that.
In an article that I previously authoried entitled “Who Owns The Media?“, I explained that six incredibly dominant corporations control most of the news that we see today….
Back in 1983, approximately 50 corporations controlled the vast majority of all news media in the United States. Today, ownership of the news media has been concentrated in the hands of just six incredibly powerful media corporations. These corporate behemoths control most of what we watch, hear and read every single day. They own television networks, cable channels, movie studios, newspapers, magazines, publishing houses, music labels and even many of our favorite websites. Sadly, most Americans don’t even stop to think about who is feeding them the endless hours of news and entertainment that they constantly ingest. Most Americans don’t really seem to care about who owns the media. But they should. The truth is that each of us is deeply influenced by the messages that are constantly being pounded into our heads by the mainstream media. The average American watches 153 hours of television a month. In fact, most Americans begin to feel physically uncomfortable if they go too long without watching or listening to something. Sadly, most Americans have become absolutely addicted to news and entertainment and the ownership of all that news and entertainment that we crave is being concentrated in fewer and fewer hands each year.
The six corporations that collectively control U.S. media today are Time Warner, Walt Disney, Viacom, Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp., CBS Corporation and NBC Universal. Together, the “big six” absolutely dominate news and entertainment in the United States.
Yes, there are always some minor differences in news broadcasts, and in recent years we have seen outlets such as Fox News attempt to become “the establishment Republican news” and outlets such as MSNBC attempt to become “the establishment Democrat news”, but at the end of the day the kind of news that we get from all of them is pretty much the same.
But sometimes there are moments when establishment control of the news crumbles for just a moment.
Another example of this happened recently when Donald Trump made an appearance on The View. Not that Donald Trump is a huge “rebel”, but apparently he has not gotten the message that you are not supposed to question Barack Obama’s birth certificate on television.

In the United States today, if you want to get into college or if you want to apply for a good job usually you have to give a great deal of information about your background and produce a whole host of documentation about your past. For many jobs, applicants actually must be willing to submit to a very thorough formal background check.
Whatever you may think about Obama, you have to admit that what he has been able to accomplish is rather extraordinary. He applied for the most important job in the world, and yet he kept vast sections of his background a complete and total secret. He did not produce his birth certificate, he did not produce his Columbia University transcript (or much information at all regarding his educational background), there are quite a few years of his life that really can’t be accounted for at all and there are very serious questions about his Social Security number.
Yet in spite of all that he convinced the American people to make him the president of the United States.
That has got to make Barack Obama one of the greatest con men in U.S. history.
Hopefully in the future a law will be passed or the American people will demand that all politicians disclose at least the most basic information about their backgrounds.
For Obama to be able to get this far while keeping vast portions of his background a complete and total secret is absolutely mind blowing.
In any event, it has been refreshing to see some “cracks” appear in the control of the mainstream news lately.
Whether it is the war in Libya or whether it is Barack Obama’s background, the truth is that we should all be free to ask the important questions.
Our founding fathers believed very strongly in freedom of speech for a reason. Free speech shines light in dark places and it holds people accountable. Free speech protects our freedoms and it keeps tyranny at bay.
Free speech is very precious and it is easily lost. Once free speech is gone it is incredibly difficult to get back. Let us cling to free speech and cherish it deeply, because it is absolutely central to who we are as a nation.
Oil has spiked to a 30-month high on market speculation related to demand and the globalist war against the Libyan regime of Muammar Gaddafi.
Gaddafi’s forces bombed an oil field south of the city of Ajdabiya and heightened concerns about the supply of oil from the African nation.

Crude for May delivery gained around 84 cents and topped $108.78 a barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. It is the highest spike since September 24, when prices hit $108.30 a barrel. Brent oil for May settlement climbed as much as $1.05, or 0.9 percent, to $119.75 a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange.
“It’s becoming increasingly clear that the situation in Libya may be prolonged,” said Christopher Bellew, a senior broker at Bache Commodities Ltd. in London, told Bloomberg. “The more one looks at uprisings in the Middle East, the more one realizes they will not be easy to resolve. At the same time, oil demand is relatively inelastic to higher prices.”

Oil has climbed 28 percent since American and British intellignece prompted a rag tag gang of Gaddafi opponents to take up arms against the Libyan government.
Mark Pervan, head of commodity research at Australia & New Zealand Banking Group Ltd. in Melbourne, told Bloomberg upcoming elections in Nigeria may also impact oil prices. A vote to elect lawmakers was rescheduled on April 2. More than 50 people have died in election-related violence since July, according to Amnesty International. Nigeria is Africa’s most populous nation and largest oil producer.
Last week a leading neocon responsible for the Pentagon’s Office of Special Plans and the lies that led the United States into an undeclared war against Iraq – and ultimately led to the murder of nearly 1.5 million Iraqis – told Fox News it is irrelevant who controls the flow of oil. Douglas Feith said despite who controls the oil in Libya or elsewhere in the Middle East, governments will be obliged to sell it on the international market.
Neocon Douglas Feith is not worried about the oil supply.
Feith admitted that conflict does interrupt the production of oil and impact prices. He did not discount the possibility that the CIA created terror group al-Qaeda may eventually control oil.
The plan to invade Iraq and oust the former CIA operative Saddam Hussein and replace him with former Petra Bank chairman Ahmed Chalabi began well before a neocon-dominated Pentagon decided to invade the oil producing country enfeebled by more than a decade of brutal economic sanctions.

Earlier this week, government officials released information about Obama’s order instructing the CIA to meddle in Libya’s internal affairs and violate that country’s national sovereignty.
Obama signed the “finding” two or three weeks ago. It is characterized as a presidential directive and authorizes the CIA to overthrow the Libyan government.
As we remind readers today, British intelligence and U.S. Special Forces have been on the ground inside Libya for some time. Obama’s action is considered necessary because the so-called rebels – consisting in large part of al-Qaeda and CIA spawned jihadists – are losing the battle against Gaddafi and his trained military force.
CIA involvement in Libya is nothing new. As I noted on March 29, the CIA has meddled in Libyan internal affairs for decades. Documents reveal that the CIA supported and funded an anti-Gaddafi opposition group based in Chad, an African nation on Libya’s southern border. Support for this group also came from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco, Israel and Iraq.
The group suffered a setback when a plot to assassinate Gaddafi and take over the government failed. In 1985, the U.S. instructed Egypt to invade Libya and overthrow Gaddafi but then president Mubarak refused. Mubarak, who served as a dutiful client for decades, was overthrown earlier this year in a color revolution that installed the Egyptian military.
Following the failed attempt to assassinate Gaddafi, the U.S. bombed Libya, killing Gaddafi’s young daughter and putting other members of his family in the hospital. Reagan’s bombing resulted in the death of 40 to 100 civilians and the destruction of the French Embassy. The attack was said to be a response to a disco bombing that killed two U.S. servicemen in Berlin. German TV later exposed CIA and Mossad links to the bombing.
The CIA plan to kill Gaddafi is hardly new or revelatory. The rogue agency was most likely behind the attempt to kill Chou En-Lai of China in 1955. The 1975 Senate Committee investigating the CIA reported that it had “received some evidence” of CIA involvement in plans to assassinate President Sukarno of Indonesia. It wanted to assassinate president Nasser of Egypt. In 1975, the Senate’s Church Committee said that Allen Dulles had ordered the assassination of Patrice Lumumba, the prime minister of Congo. The CIA’s numerous attempts to kill Cuban dictator Fidel Castro are legendary. In 1982 and 1983, the CIA was involved in the murder of General Ahmed Dlimi, a Moroccan officer who sought to overthrow the Moroccan monarchy. As Philip Agee has noted, CIA operations constitute the usually unseen efforts to shore up unjust, unpopular, minority governments. In the past, these operations were usually secret, but are now revealed with corporate media fanfare as part of the establishment’s propaganda effort. The CIA has played a very public role since Bush the Lesser dispatched it to kill al-Qaeda and associated patsies in the tribal areas of Pakistan. Obama has continued and increased this activity, usually carried out remotely by way of Predator drone and Hellfire missiles.
“Covert action should not be confused with missionary work,” quipped the prized asset of the global elite – and notorious war criminal – Henry Kissinger.
Indeed, the CIA has, since its inception under the National Security Act of 1947, been responsible for overthrowing numerous governments or meddling seriously in their internal affairs – countries on the list include Indonesia, Chile, Greece, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Angola, El Salvador, Haiti and dozens of others. This orchestrated overthrow of governments is usually accompanied by considerable violence. The CIA’s involvement in the Indonesia coup – resulting in the murder of more than a million people – is well documented.
John Stockwell, former CIA Station Chief in Angola in 1976, working for then director of the CIA, George Bush Senior, in 1987 put the agency’s murder tally at more than six million people, a number that puts it up there with Hitler, Stalin, and Mao. But then this makes perfect sense since the agency had a close relationship with Nazi intelligence at the end of the Second World War and imported Hitler’s best and brightest into the United States to work for the CIA, the Pentagon, and the aerospace program.
The CIA will continue its disreputable and criminal record of mass murder, assassination, and torture in Libya. The overthrow of Gaddafi has nothing to do with democracy or humanitarianism – it is simply another blow orchestrated by the globalists against recalcitrant Arabs who must be brought to heel.
Gaddafi is the new Saddam Hussein, who served as a pretext to invade Iraq and kill well over a million Iraqis. Hussein, who began his career as a CIA sponsored assassin, had funny ideas about pan-Arab nationalism and saw himself as the reincarnation of Nebuchadnezzar. Gaddafi’s eccentric blend of Marxism, Arab nationalism, and Islam make him ill-suited for the globalist plans for the Middle East and their designs on the world’s oil resources. The CIA will make sure he is disposed of, most likely in much the same way Hussein was eliminated.

In a special video address, Alex Jones terms the al Qaeda intelligence operation a ‘Swiss army knife’ for destabilization. Simply put, it is a tool to foment crisis that allows the globalists to offer up a solution in variable contexts.
Today, ‘freelancers‘ in Libya; yesterday, terrorists in the ‘War on Terror.’ Before that, allies against Serbia; in the 80s, Freedom Fighters. Indeed, the rebel forces trying to topple Gaddafi admittedly include more than 1,000 al Qaeda soldiers while enjoying total backing– weapons, planes, funding and forces– from the U.S., Britain, NATO and other allies. The CIA and British SAS forces that are now “officially” entering Libya as ground support were covertly operating at least a month ago.

The answer to the contradiction is learning to embrace the deception as truth, whenever the State says to do so, just as Winston Smith finally “learns” in 1984– when he is compelled to find that 2+2=5. His torturer, O’Brien, tells him ‘You are a slow learner, Winston.’
‘How can I help it?’ [Winston] blubbered. ‘How can I help seeing what is in front of my eyes? Two and two are four.’
‘Sometimes, Winston. Sometimes they are five. Sometimes they are three. Sometimes they are all of them at once. You must try harder. It is not easy to become sane.’
Karl Rove, a key architect of the Bush Administration, known glowingly as “Bush’s Brain”, chastised reporters in 2002 who tried to appeal to the “reality-based community” in the face of a President who, according to Ron Suskind of the NY Times expressed to high level members of Congress, aides and the like that he didn’t need the facts:
The aide [Rove] said that guys like me were ”in what we call the reality-based community,” which he defined as people who ”believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality.” I nodded and murmured something about enlightenment principles and empiricism. [Rove] cut me off. ”That’s not the way the world really works anymore,” he continued. ”We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality — judiciously, as you will — we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.”
Unbeknownst to the media at that time, Rove was operating on behalf of a government that was not only arrogant, but had taken a page directly out of George Orwell’s 1984. America’s enemy Osama bin Laden and his al Qaeda were remarkably like Emmanuel Goldstein, arch-villain of Oceania in 1984. Goldstein [or bin Laden] was “commander of a vast shadowy army, an underground network of conspirators dedicated to the overthrow of the State.” An enemy that couldn’t be found, killed or slowed from influencing new conspirators at every turn. “Somewhere or other,” Orwell wrote, “he was still alive and hatching his conspiracies.”
“Goldstein was delivering his usual venomous attack upon the doctrines of the Party — an attack so exaggerated and perverse that a child should have been able to see through it, and yet just plausible enough to fill one with an alarmed feeling that other people, less level-headed than oneself, might be taken in by it… Goldstein produced fear and anger automatically. He was an object of hatred more constant than either Eurasia or Eastasia, since when Oceania was at war with one of these Powers it was generally at peace with the other. But what was strange was that although Goldstein was hated and despised by everybody… his influence never seemed to grow less.”
In 1984, it was rumored that Goldstein, whereabouts unknown, might even be taking refuge somewhere within their own superstate itself; consequently, “a day never passed when spies and saboteurs acting under his directions were not unmasked by the Thought Police.” In contemporary America, the Department of Homeland Security now takes that possibility as its directive, screening and searching ordinary people everywhere in search of shadowy al Qaeda or “homegrown terrorists.” Just as in 1984, children were trained to be spies to rat out suspicious adults.
Behind the hoax contrived to control party members and maintain power, Winston’s torturer and member of the inner-party, O’Brien, confessed that he had personally taken part in writing Goldstein’s outlawed book– a lie to serve the State. It was necessary for the controlling party to create a living myth that portrayed Goldstein as a classic, evasive “external enemy“. The utility of the external enemy has been noted by many, including the Club of Rome, who wrote in 1991 that “Humans only truly unite when faced with a powerful external enemy…At this time a new enemy must be found, one either real or invented for the purpose.” Henry Kissinger likewise quipped at Bilderberg in 1991 that the United Nations might seize upon an “outside threat from beyond” to unite the peoples of the world.
Thus, the steady diet of propaganda, including the two-minutes hate that daily featured new installments of Goldstein’s crimes and heresies. In 1984, Goldstein was:
“almost on a level with Big Brother himself, and then had engaged in counter-revolutionary activities, had been condemned to death, and had mysteriously escaped and disappeared. The programmes of the Two Minutes Hate varied from day to day, but there was none in which Goldstein was not the principal figure. He was the primal traitor.”
O’Brien proclaimed during Winston’s torturous re-education sessions that: “Goldstein and his heresies will live for ever. Every day, at every moment, they will be defeated, discredited, ridiculed, spat upon and yet they will always survive.” Bin Laden has been patently the same archetypal enemy– despite being wanted dead or alive (Bush, Sept. 18, 2001), armies can’t find him [TIME 2002] after a decade.
Admittedly fake videos with bad look-alikes and audio recordings supposedly sent by bin Laden surfaced routinely just before elections (Tom Ridge later admitted that terror threats were elevated to help Bush’s re-election bid) or when the American people needed a reminder of the threat of terror. Prior to the admissions, analysts correctly suspected that al Qaeda video logos matched the signature of the CIA-linked Intel Center, revealing an unholy connection at the source of the video-taped threats. Despite the fact that bin Laden had reportedly died and had been in the hospital on kidney dialysis in 2001, Osama bin Laden remained a nearly-omnipotent villain in Bush Administration communiques. His survival as the external enemy, like Goldstein, was almost guaranteed because it empowered the State’s official fairytale and enabled action on wide-ranging controversial policies with little scrutiny. Ultimately, in 1984, Goldstein is of no material relevance; his real purpose is to induce submission to the party-led Oligarchical Collectivist State.
DOUBLETHINK: AL QAEDA THE ALLY, AL QAEDA THE ENEMY
Back in 1979, al Qaeda, in the form of the Mujahideen / Taliban, were America’s secret weapon in Operation Cyclone. It was geopolitical strategist Zbigniew Brzezinski, then National Security Advisor under Carter, who schemed to draw the Soviet Union into a trap that might bleed them dry. Brzezinski gave an interview to France’s Le Nouvel Observateur in 1998, unapologetic about their covert aid the Mujahadeen six months before the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan. Here is a segment of that interview:
Q: You don’t regret anything today? Brzezinski:Regret what? That secret operation was an excellent idea. It had the effect of drawing the Russians into the Afghan trap and you want me to regret it? The day that the Soviets officially crossed the border, I wrote to President Carter: We now have the opportunity of giving to the USSR its Vietnam war. Indeed, for almost 10 years, Moscow had to carry on a war unsupportable by the government, a conflict that brought about the demoralization and finally the breakup of the Soviet empire. Q:And neither do you regret having supported the Islamic [integrisme], having given arms and advice to future terrorists? Brzezinski:What is most important to the history of the world? The Taliban or the collapse of the Soviet empire? Some stirred-up Moslems or the liberation of Central Europe and the end of the cold war? Q:Some stirred-up Moslems? But it has been said and repeated: Islamic fundamentalism represents a world menace today. Brzezinski:Nonsense!
During the Reagan years, they were Freedom Fighters, public heroes heralding the possibility for democracy to spread overseas in resistance to Communism. Reagan even dedicated the launch of the space shuttle Columbia to the Afghans, in the name of the ‘highest aspirations of freedom.’ In 1985, Ronald Reagan said the men in the Taliban’s ranks were “the moral equivalents of America’s Founding Fathers.” These men were supported openly for a decade as the Soviets met ‘their Vietnam’ in Afghanistan.
Osama bin Laden ran MAK (Maktab al-Khidamat), an organization created by Pakistan’s ISI at the behest of the CIA. It funneled money, weapons, and internationally recruited fighters into the war created in part by Jimmy Carter’s National Security Adviser, Zbigniew Brzezinski. Osama was closely tied to the Afghan warlord and ISI stooge Gulbuddin Hekmatyar who ran drugs for the CIA. In the 1980s, emissaries from the United States met with Osama. The CIA paid Osama to train the militant group Abu Sayyaf and others at his CIA-built camps in Afghanistan. In New York, Osama’s MAK operated the CIA-connected al-Kifah Refugee Center that was involved in the 1993 WTC bombing. The U.S. government would later call the al-Kifah charity the “precursor organization to al-Qaeda.”
With Serbia / former Yugoslavia still fresh in the public mind but the Pentagon-al Qaeda connection largely in the shadows, the USS Cole was bombed in October 2000 in a Yemeni port. The act of terror against the United States would be blamed on Osama bin Laden, rogue heir to the wealthy family known for their business with big Western players (like the Carlyle Group, etc.).
While rallying the public behind a war in Afghanistan, and soon in Iraq as well, the Bush Administration clandestinely let members of the bin Laden family quietly fly out of the United States, even while all other flights were grounded. It would be revealed in articles about the “Airlift of Evil,” that U.S. forces also covertly exported Taliban forces from Afghanistan to Pakistan; meanwhile, U.S. soldiers where geared up to search in caves and rugged terrain for a shadowy enemy in the “graveyard of empires“; as of 2011, the deadline for leaving Afghanistan continues to roll back.
Nearly every major terror plot uncovered domestically has, in fact, turned out to be a contrivance by the FBI where it sets-up a sting and encourages its patsies to carry out an attack. The “close calls” on American soil since 9/11 have largely been connected to Anwar al-Awlaki, who it was revealed, dined with Pentagon brass in the months after 9/11. The Underwear Bomber who tried to blow-up a Detroit-bound plane was given VISA clearance by the State Dept. despite being on the watchlist; witnesses Kurt & Lori Haskell watched Abdulmutallab being helped on the plane by a “sharp-dressed man” who was most likely an intelligence agent. They also witnessed other suspect/patsies who were never mentioned in the mainstream media. The key questions their verified account raises may never be addressed, as the accused Abdulmutallab is attempting to represent himself in court. Hoaxes and inconsistencies have been raised around the cases of the Foot Hood shooter, the Times Square bomber and many, many others. Even Geraldo Rivera of Fox News has noted that the FBI’s pattern of sting operations are ‘bogus’.
In 2011, George Orwell’s “War is Peace” mantra is upgraded once again, as the Nobel Peace Prize winner President Obama expands war into Libya under the Orwellian-guise of a “humanitarian crisis,” imposing a no-fly zone (which immediately gave way to full scale bombings and then ground forces). Americans, Westerners and the world at-large must scratch their heads once again as wars in Iraq and Afghanistan not only continue, but the West finds an unlikely ally against Col. Gaddafi in rebels made up of al Qaeda forces. The Lie has not stopped, as Western intelligence continues to wield one of its most powerful client-weapons– the al Qaeda hoax, invariably friend or foe, as the situation demands. In classic doublethink, the same week the public learns its anti-Gaddafi allies include al Qaeda, over-the-top, grandiose threats are made by mail claiming that al Qaeda has some 160 nuclear bombs buried at strategic locations across the United States; if there’s any truth at all to the claim, you can be certain the nuclear material was delivered via Western intelligence.

There is an increasing pressure from lawmakers in Washington, as well as from the American public for President Obama to be more specific in the strategy for Libya. Radio host Alex Jones however argues there is more to it than an American/Obama agenda. He compared the situation with the US missions in Iraq, Rwanda and Serbia, where, he alleged, Al-Qaeda was created by the CIA and used to fight Serbs all as a part of an overall globalist agenda of the New World Order.
A top ranking NATO Commander has admitted that intelligence has uncovered elements of “al qaeda” amongst Libyan rebel fighters currently receiving tactical military support from US and European led operations inside the country.
The admission serves as yet more confirmation that radical Islamic fundamentalists are part of the opposition groups attempting to oust the nationalist dictatorship of Muammar Gaddafi, with the help of the US and its NATO allies.
“We are examining very closely the content, composition, the personalities, who are the leaders of these opposition forces,” Admiral James Stavridis, NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander, Europe, and also the commander of U.S. European Command, said during testimony at the U.S. Senate.
“…we have seen flickers in the intelligence of potential al Qaeda, Hezbollah, we’ve seen different things.” Stavridis said, while adding that the rebels leadership appeared to be comprised also of “responsible men and women”.
Abdel-Hakim al-Hasidi, who made the remarks in an interview with Il Sole 24 Ore, an Italian newspaper, also admitted that he had previously recruited fundamentalists to fight in Iraq, and said that the fighters are “today are on the front lines in Adjabiya”.
Those fighters violently oppose the secular regime of Gaddafi and wish to see it destroyed and replaced with sharia law in Libya.
“We have not made that decision but we’ve not certainly ruled that out,” Rice told “Good Morning America” anchor George Stephanopoulos on Tuesday morning. She did not answer a question about whether military support would include arming the rebels.
Secondly, they are easily transformed into dangerous terrorist enemies, should the globalist elite need an excuse to strengthen their grip in the future.
It comes as little surprise that elements of radicals would make up some of the Libyan rebel groups, given that, as Webster Tarpley has highlighted, the Benghazi-Darnah-Tobruk area is a world capital for al qaeda or mujahedin suicide bomber recruitment, according to a 2007 West Point study.
The study found that Libya was the second-largest source of foreign guerilla jihadi fighters entering Iraq in the world.
“Libya contributed far more fighters per capita than any other nationality… including Saudi Arabia,” the authors concluded.
“The apparent surge in Libyan recruits traveling to Iraq may be linked to the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group’s [LIFG] increasingly cooperative relationship with al Qaeda, which culminated in the LIFG officially joining al Qaeda on November 3, 2007,” the report states.
As detailed in a London Telegraph report, Abdel-Hakim al-Hasidi, leader of the Libyan rebels, was a member of the LIFG.
Despite all this evidence, as well as outright admissions from the rebels themselves and NATO commanders, Neolib gatekeeping media outlets, such as the George Soros funded Think Progress, have ridiculously suggested that it’s all some sort of conservative right wing conspiracy against president Obama.
“… in recent days, some prominent conservatives have been attacking President Obama for essentially fighting on behalf of al Qaeda by joining the international intervention in Libya, without offering any evidence for this inflammatory charge.” George Zornick writes, ignoring the fact that there is ample evidence, as we have already presented.
Even after all the lies and subterfuge surrounding the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the likes of Zornick remain perpetually locked in a left vs right political paradigm cell, constructed entirely of their own cognitive dissonance.
The ruling global elite, yes there is a global ruling elite Mr Zornick – that is not a conspiracy theory – in the form of the Western military industrial complex, continually back both sides while forwarding their own strategic geopolitical agenda. We have seen this time and again. You know they do, you have seen it time and again – it is no different this time around.
Zornick cannot compute. Obama=good, Bush=bad no longer computes. World is more complicated than programming can comprehend. Zornick will self destruct in ten seconds. Information overload. Information overload.

A large scale cover-up of the extent and severity of Japan’s multiple nuclear meltdowns is now underway, according to Yoichi Shimatsu, the former editor of the Japan Times Weekly. Mr. Shimatsu appeared on CCTV, China’s state-run television network.
“Following a high-level meeting called by the lame-duck prime minister, Japanese agencies are no longer releasing independent reports without prior approval from the top,” writes Shimatsu. “The censorship is being carried out following the imposition of the Article 15 Emergency Law.”
Shimatsu contends that the Obama White House sent a team to consult the Naoto Kan government. Instead of dispatching experts from the Department of Energy, Nuclear Safety Agency and Health Department, representatives of USAID were sent to micromanage the cover-up.
Since the 1960s, USAID – short for United States Agency for International Development – has maintained a close working relationship with the CIA, and Agency officers often operated abroad under USAID cover, according to author William Blum (

, p. 142, 200, 234). The close relationship between USAID and the CIA is also documented in the long-suppressed “family jewels” documents (see pages 607 to 613 ).
The CIA and the spooks are naturally concerned about their foothold on the Misawa Air Force Base in the Iwate Prefecture, hard hit by the earthquake. “Misawa, the hub of US electronic warfare and high-tech espionage in East Asia with its fleet of P-3 Orions and an ECHELON eavesdropping antennae,” Shimatsu notes.
In addition, the establishment is worried about geopolitical aspects of the crisis, most notably in regard to regional “enemies” Pyongyang, Beijing and Moscow. Both China and Russia have both offered aid without strings attached and this is undoubtedly considered a threat by the political establishment in the United States.
The Pentagon also has a vested interest in stage managing information emerging from Japan. In addition to its sprawling military bases in the country since the end of the Second World War, one of the military industrial complex’s major players, Westinghouse, runs a nuclear fuel operation at Tokai in the Ibaraki prefecture.
Westinghouse took control of Japan’s Nuclear Fuel Industries Ltd — the country’s sole producer of fuel for both boiling-water reactors and pressurized-water reactors — in 2009.
The CIA, through USAID, is running a disinfo campaign on Japan’s earthquake crippled nuclear facilities for geopolitical reasons. The Japanese people will ultimately suffer, as will millions of other people who happen to be downwind from the stricken plants.
