The World Health Organization (WHO) will declare polio a global health emergency this week.

Although they claim they lack the sufficient funding to take on this endeavor, Sona Bari, spokeswoman for the polio eradication program at WHO, said the world faced a “now or never” moment.

WHO asserts that in 2011 the disease was reported to be running rampant throughout Pakistan, Afghanistan and Nigeria, with 650 cases around the world.

They will focus their efforts in these countries.

WHO is seeking to secure $1billion to add to their existing funds. They will bring this topic to the attention of ministers of health at the World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland this week.

They hope to coerce polio-free countries to donate money. They also suggest that officials from polio-free countries have officials at airports to administer vaccinations to people at arriving from affected nations.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has poured millions of dollars into supporting Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunizations (GAVI), a UN agency that also works in conjunction with WHO to administer vaccines to under-developed nations.

WHO and GAVI teamed up with the World Bank and UN Population Fund in the 1970′s under the Task Force on Vaccines for Fertility Regulation. The Task Force, “…acts as a global coordinating body for anti-fertility vaccine R&D.” GAVI is heavily funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for the global vaccination projects.

Gates and WHO were in India vaccinating children for polio in when a strange case of non-polio paralysis began to strike those that had recently been vaccinated.

GAVI were blamed for deaths in Pakistan when they came in and administered polio vaccines that resulted in casualties.

It is widely known that polio vaccines are the leading cause of polio paralysis. India has found that 100 – 180 cases per year are directly correlated with polio vaccinated areas. Although vaccine-associated polio paralysis (VAPP) is recognized, these cases of NPAFP are too extreme to ignore. And so is the cause of this disease.

It was found out through an investigation, that GAVI was using an untested vaccine; giving this dangerous vaccine to Pakistani children shows the lack of empathy associated with these organizations.

There is also suspicion about WHO’s need for dire amounts of vaccines after the CIA scandal where the US agency used fake hepatitis vaccines in a campaign to gather terrorist intelligence, through obtaining DNA in Pakistan.

CIA agents recruited Shakil Afridl, a Pakistain doctor to head the fake vaccine drive . After Afridl was arrested, the plan was exposed.

CIA wanted DNA from Osama bin Laden’s children. Afridl procured funds and proceeded to administer free hepatitis B vaccines in collaboration with local health officials. During the fake campaign, many thousands of Pakistani children were vaccinated.

It was during this time that non-polio paralysis became an issue among the vaccinated children, which exposed a depopulation agenda as well as a scheme to use vaccines as a coercive way to obtain DNA from children under the guise of locating Osama bin Laden.

However, WHO has the support of fatwas (religious rulings) from clerics worldwide that are advising parents to vaccinate their children and disregard the rumors that vaccines are “un-Islamic”.

Sami ul-Haq, a religious leader and “father” of the Taliban, is one of their biggest proponents. Ul-Haq was behind a large immunization campaign at his madrassah where he demonstrated the need for vaccines by publicly vaccinating his own grandson.

Governments and WHO are collaborating to force tens of thousands of children in tribal areas on the boarder of Afghanistan to be vaccinated. They have set up patrols to intercept parents that are fleeing populated areas in a forced immunization campaign.

Dr. Nima Abid, head of the WHO polio efforts, estimates that after they will have to vaccinate an estimated 50,000 children. Abid claims this campaign is not about control, but “eradication . . . we have to reach these children.”

Some medical officials in India are privy to the agenda behind the surge in vaccinations. Dr. Neetu Vashisht and Dr. Jacob Puliyel, of the Department of Pediatrics at St Stephens Hospital in Delhi, say, “the polio eradication program epitomizes nearly everything that is wrong with donor funded ‘disease specific’ vertical projects at the cost of investments in community-oriented primary health care (horizontal programs) . . . This is a startling reminder of how initial funding and grants from abroad distort local priorities.”

Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu joined over two dozen Republican lawmakers in calling on Attorney General Eric Holder’s to resign over Operation Fast and Furious, the gunrunning program that saw the ATF deliver some 2,000 guns directly into the hands of Mexican drug gangs, labeling the scandal worse than the Watergate cover-up that brought down the Nixon White House.

Noting that two of the guns involved in the program were found at the scene where U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry was shot to death, Babeu warned that if Holder attempted to stay in power, he could bring down the entire Obama administration.

“I thought it was a telling sign when President Obama embraced him and gave him the Al Capone hug and the Scarface whisper in the ear that I support you. He did this publicly. I thought, `Wow, this is his last hours here, that he’s on his way out,” Babeu told KTAR News.

Holder is set to testify once more on the subject in front of a Democratic-led Senate committee on November 8.

By no means for the first time, if Eric Holder repeats his dubious contention that Fast and Furious only came to his attention when it became public knowledge, he will be knowingly committing perjury.

The head of the Justice Department’s criminal division, Lanny A. Breuer, Holder’s subordinate who first learned of Fast and Furious in April 2010, sent Holder briefings concerning Fast and Furious in July 2010, almost a year before Holder told a Judiciary Committee hearing, “I’m not sure of the exact date, but I probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks.”

Holder also received the same briefing from the head of the National Drug Intelligence Center, internal DOJ documents obtained by CBS News show.

“Internal Justice Department documents show that at least ten months before that hearing, Holder began receiving frequent memos discussing Fast and Furious,” states the report.

The CBS News journalist behind the scoop, Sharyl Attkisson, was subjected to verbal abuse by the White House merely for asking questions about the controversy, and was warned not to pursue the story.

Though heavily redacted, the documents directly discuss “Operation Fast and Furious” and how it involves “trafficking firearms to Mexico”.

In addition, Holder himself gave testimony to Congress in May 2009 in which he spoke of efforts on behalf of the DOJ and the DHS to track weapons going from the U.S. into Mexico under Project Gunrunner, which was the umbrella program for subsequent operations like Fast and Furious.

It now appears as though Breuer is attempting to throw himself under the bus in an attempt to take the heat off his boss and be the fall guy for Fast and Furious.

Over two dozen Republican lawmakers have called for Holder to resign over his stonewalling on Fast and Furious, which is the subject of a congressional probe.

As we highlighted last week, Holder is not alone in his willingness to risk charges of perjury by lying in front of elected representatives.

Despite telling a House Judiciary Committee that she only learned of operation Fast and Furious in December last year when the controversy went public, Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano actually helped launch the previous incarnation of the program, Project Gunrunner, at a White House press conference in March 2009.

“Napolitano, at one point likening the questioning to a cross-examination, said repeatedly she only learned of “Fast and Furious” after Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was killed in December,” reported Fox News. “She emphasized the operation, conceived and run by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, “was an ATF operation,” under the auspices of the Justice Department, not her department.”

However, as the video below illustrates, not only was Napolitano aware of the ATF program to put guns into the hands of Mexican drug lords, she actually helped launch the previous incarnation of it, Project Gunrunner, at a White House press conference alongside Deputy Attorney General David Ogden in March 2009.

Alex Jones addresses the latest intimidation tactic from the private Federal Reserve bank, whose San Antonio branch has filed a privacy violation with You Tube demanding the removal of a video filmed at the location during an “occupy” rally. Alex tells them cease and desist this action, which violates the First Amendment.

Federal Reserve branches across the country have a long history of trying to stifle free speech and press coverage, from fraudulently claiming that filming its buildings is illegal to threatening arrest and more.

The recent US government raid of Gibson Guitars’ Tennessee manufacturing facility is now receiving widespread media coverage, thanks to a flood of reports that have appeared across the web in recent weeks, including here atNaturalNews.

But beyond simply the raid itself is the reality of the new environmental police state that appears to be taking over, where personal wood products of all kinds — whether they be furniture, hand tools, or even guns made with rare wood stocks — are now threatened with arbitrary confiscation.

As we mentioned previously, the US Fish and Wildlife Service’s (FWS) use of the US Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Lacey Act of 2008 to invoke the Gibson raid sets a chilling precedent for the environmental police to go after others, including ordinary individuals, who may possess wood products deemed unacceptable, even if such wood products were obtained legally.

You see, Gibson’s import of rosewood and ebony from India was not illegal under either US or Indian law. FWS merely decided to interpret Indian law in its own illogical way, and invoke the Lacey Act as justification for its illegal raid. And if the agency gets away with doing this to Gibson, they will surely do it again to others.

The issue surrounding Gibson’s imports had to do with specifics about where it imported wood was actually manufactured, not where it was imported. But even though both the US and Indian governments approved the exports, which they do for virtually all other guitar manufacturers, FWS selectively targeted Gibson for enforcement of a law that basically does not even exist.

Why did FWS do this? One reason, as we reported earlier, is to outsource remaining US jobs overseas (http://www.naturalnews.com/033506_G…). But another reason is to assert strict control over the use of natural resources like rare woods, which are used in a variety of products besides guitars.

In other words, if FWS actions against Gibson are allowed to prevail unpunished, there is no reason why the agency cannot and will not use the Lacey Act to go after owners, traders, and sellers of other products that contain rare wood materials, which include personal handguns and rifles. Yes, when taken to its logical conclusion, FWS could theoretically invoke gun confiscation in the name of protecting the environment.

The American police state truly is growing at an unprecedented rate, which is evidenced by the unveiling of this new environmental police force that is eager to confiscate personal property in the name of enforcing (fictitious) laws. If it is not stopped now, it will continue to grow until not a shred of freedom remains.

TSA has defended the groping of a 6 year-old girl, saying it followed policy. Yet in Nov. 2010, TSA vowed no ‘enhanced’ pat-downs for children under 12.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) contradicted itself, even to the point of outright lying, in responding to controversy about a 6 year-old girl who received a groping pat-down AFTER already being sent through a body scanner. The video went viral after appearing on DrudgeReport.com and many other sites. TSA typically explained away this unnerving experience that left the girl in tears by arguing that the action is perfectly normal, follows all procedures and keeps us safe from terrorism, all, of course, in the name of ‘safety.’

You see, the TSA rationalized in its latest defense that, “terrorists are willing to manipulate societal norms to evade detection.” Thus, TSA would have it, we must abandon societal norms [and laws] like not touching children in their private parts, and instead subject them to pre-crime inspections. According to the logic, no women & children, little old ladies or men handicapped in wheelchairs or implanted with modern medical devices, no body cavity or private part is safe from extensive probing by the “guardians” in government. As the Justice Department recently proclaimed, the TSA assumes the authority to literally strip-search people on demand.

So, the shocking video seen across the alternative blogosphere today was standard operating procedure, as the TSA pointed out in its most recent blog posting, ‘Screening of 6 Year-Old at MSY‘:

A video taken of one of our officers patting down a six year-old has attracted quite a bit of attention. Some folks are asking if the proper procedures were followed. Yes. TSA has reviewed the incident and the security officer in the video followed the current standard operating procedures.

Yet in a November 2010 posting ‘TSA Myth or Fact: Leaked Images, Handcuffed Hosts, Religious Garb, and More!,’ written in the hopes of dispelling ‘rumors’ about the new invasive pat-downs, Blogger Bob of the TSA claims that children under 12 are supposed to receive a modified pat-down.

Myth: All children will receive pat-downs.
Fact: TSA officers are trained to work with parents to ensure a respectful screening process for the entire family, while providing the best possible security for all travelers. Children 12 years old and under who require extra screening will receive a modified pat down.

So why did the little girl receive the full, invasive treatment, particularly after having already been screened via body scanner?

After all, the ‘modified’ TSA policy was even publicly announced back in November, as in the USA Today article, “No ‘enhanced’ pat-downs for kids, TSA says.” It cites comments from TSA spokeswoman Kristin Lee who stated, “After a thorough risk assessment and after hearing concerns from parents, we made the decision that a modified pat-down would be used for children 12 years old and under who require extra screening.”

Further, the TSA blog deceives the public over the perception that pat-downs only occur for passengers who opt-out of the scanners, writing, “Only passengers who alarm a walk through metal detector or AIT machine or opt out of the AIT receive a pat-down.” However, the girl’s parents revealed what the video did not show– that their child had already been sent through the body scanners, and was then selected for a groping ‘enhanced’ pat-down. If the girl somehow alerted the scanner, the TSA did not disclose that fact to her parents when they asked why she was receiving the additional screening. In fact, the parents were given no reason, but were instead threatened non-verbally to comply with their daughter’s pat-down or face ‘trouble,’ as they told Good Morning America. Is intimidation part of the official policy, too?

Adding insult to injury, the TSA has previously lied about the fact that body scanners can store nude images of the passengers it surveys (and have done so) . Couple that with the controversy raised over the fact that body scanners violate many child indecency laws, or that numerous cases have arisen over perverted and/or criminal TSA employees abusing their power. These parents weren’t comfortable with an officer touching their child, and they shouldn’t be comfortable sending their kids through naked body scanners either. WeWontFly.com, an organization who helped launch the would-be protests against scanners last Thanksgiving, have initiated a campaign demanding an end to pat-downs for children. Second that, but for scanners, too– scanners are both invasive and dangerous, all the more so on both counts for children.

Meanwhile, CNN aired a piece largely justifying the pat-down of the 6 year-old, which featured two individuals supposedly representative of the public who were both almost completely apologetic for TSA power. A mother said her four year-old ‘understood’ why TSA did what it did, telling other passengers to “suck it up” for airline safety. She added that it ‘only took a few seconds’ to undergo a pat-down, even if it was like the one of the 6 year-old that CNN reporters showed her.

Similar duplicity was expressed by the TSA during the backlash leading up to the Thanksgiving 2010 holidays. The TSA insisted that use of body scanners was indispensable to prevent terrorists and could not be curbed because of public outrage; then days later, TSA stood down at airports across the United States and turned off scanners to prevent protesters from gaining any traction or publicity. Then, as if in concert, mainstream media outlets gave reports that the airports were running smoothly, omitting the fact that body scanners were turned off, proclaimed the protests a failure, and then misrepresented public support for TSA by selectively representing travelers with only supportive interviews.

Such contradictions are typical of any overly authoritarian government; its very nature will always argue for more power and say anything to prevent that power from being taken back. Also typical is that thing with known liars… what else are they lying about?

Whatever delusional reasons TSA comes up with to justify its harassment of young children, ordinary Americans and travelers from around the world, the people clearly aren’t buying it. At a glance, comments in TSA’s own moderated comments section are overwhelmingly against airport abuse. Here are just a few:

It looks like the Japanese and Obama will try to cover-up the out of control reactors and exposed fuel rods at Fukushima the same way the U.S. government covered-up the Gulf oil disaster.

Japan’s Prime Minister Naoto Kan has proclaimed he can see “light at the end of the tunnel” and that progress has been made at the number one and two reactors at the plant.

It was also reported that a power cable was connected to the number 3 and 4 reactors.

Obama’s bureaucrats were obliged to chime in. “With each passing hour, each passing day, things are more under control,” said U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu on the Fox News Sunday program. “Step by step, they are making very good progress.”

Chu said the Obama administration believes the worst of the crisis is behind us. Unit two, where TEPCO connected a 1.5-kilometer power cable March 18, was the main source of concern, Chu said on CNN’s State of the Union program.

Meanwhile, IAEA director-general Yukiya Amano said he had “no doubt that this crisis will be effectively overcome.”

On March 21, Zero Hedge posted thermal photos of the site. “Thermal images from Fukushima have just been released. One is based on data from Die Welt, the other one comes straight from NHK,” the site notes.

The Die Welt photo shows a temperature at 128 Celsius, well above the boiling point of water. Zero Hedge speculates the area in question is the pool containing spent nuclear fuel rods. If the water is boiling, the rods are more than likely exposed and radiation is being emitted. Water boils at 100 Celsisu.

So much for Chu’s optimism.

There is perhaps no topic as important to the average American today as rising prices. Whether we consider food, gasoline, or clothing, the cost of living is increasing significantly. At a time of high unemployment, rising prices trap American families between a rock and a hard place. While rising prices colloquially are referred to as “inflation,” true inflation is defined as an increase in the money supply, and all other things being equal, an increase in the money supply leads to a rise in prices. Inflation is and always has been throughout history a monetary phenomenon, and its destructive effects have ruined societies from the Roman Empire to Weimar Germany to modern-day Zimbabwe.

Blame for the most recent round of price increases has been laid at the feet of the Federal Reserve’s program of quantitative easing, and rightly so in my opinion. This program, known as QE2, sought to purchase a total of $900 billion in US Treasury debt over a period of 8 months. Roughly $110 billion of newly created money is flooding into markets each month, markets which still have not fully recovered from the financial crisis of the last few years. Banks still hold billions of dollars in underperforming mortgage-backed securities on their books, securities which would render numerous major banks insolvent if they were “marked to market.” These nervous banks are hesitant to loan out further money, instead holding well over a trillion dollars on reserve with the Fed. Is it any wonder, then, that the Fed’s new hot money is flowing into commodity markets?

The price of cotton is up more than 170% over the past year, oil is up over 40%, and many categories of food staples are seeing double-digit price growth. This means that food, clothing, and gasoline will become increasingly expensive over the coming year. American families, many of whom already live paycheck to paycheck, increasingly will be forced by these rising prices into unwilling tradeoffs. Rising prices lead to consumers purchasing ground beef rather than steak, drinking water rather than milk, and choosing canned vegetables over fresh. Clothes are worn until they are threadbare, in order to conserve money that keeps food on the table and pays the heating bill. While some might argue that this new frugality is a good thing, frugality is virtuous only when it results from free choice, not when it is forced upon the citizenry by the Fed’s ruinous monetary policy.

While the Fed takes credit for the increase in the stock markets, it claims no responsibility for the increases in food and commodity prices. Even most economists fail to understand that inflation is at root a monetary phenomenon. As the supply of money increases, more money chases the same amount of goods, and prices rise. There may be other factors that contribute to price rises, such as famine, flooding, or global unrest, but these effects on prices are always short-term, not long-term. Consistently citing rising demand, bad weather, or energy supply uncertainty while never acknowledging the effects of monetary policy is a cop-out. Governments throughout history have sought to blame price increases on bad weather, speculators, and a whole host of other factors, rather than acknowledging the effects of their inflationary monetary policies. Indeed, tyrants of many stripes have debased their nations’ currencies while denying responsibility for the suffering that results.

The unelected policymakers at the Fed are also the last to feel the effects of inflation, in fact, they benefit from it, as does the government as a whole. Inflation results in a rise in prices, but those who receive this new money first, such as government employees, contractors, and bankers are able to use it before prices begin to increase, while those further down the totem pole suffer price increases before they see any of this new money. By reducing the purchasing power of the dollar, the Fed’s monetary policy also harms savers, encouraging reckless indebtedness and a more present-oriented pattern of consumption. Hard work and thrift are punished, so economic actors naturally respond by spending more, borrowing more, and saving less. After all, why save rapidly depreciating dollars?

We must also remember that those policymakers who exercise the most power over the economy are also the least likely to understand the effects of their policies. Chairman Bernanke and other members of the Federal Open Market Committee were convinced in mid-2008 that the economy would rebound and continue to grow through 2009, even though it was clear to many observers that we were in the midst of a severe economic crisis. Chairman Greenspan before him was known for downplaying the importance of the growing housing bubble, even while it was reaching its zenith. It remains impossible for even the brilliant minds at the Fed to achieve both the depth and breadth of knowledge necessary to enable centralized economic planning. As Friedrich von Hayek stated in his Nobel Prize address:

“The recognition of the insuperable limits to his knowledge ought indeed to teach the student of society a lesson of humility which should guard him against becoming an accomplice in men’s fatal striving to control society – a striving which makes him not only a tyrant over his fellows, but which may well make him the destroyer of a civilization which no brain has designed but which has grown from the free efforts of millions of individuals.”

Men att avlyssna i smyg är brottsligt, varnar Alexander Lundén, jurist vid polisen i Skåne. (TT)
Efterfrågan är stor på så kallade spiontelefoner som kan användas för att i smyg avlyssna någon annan. De kostar bara någon tusenlapp och lämnar enligt reklamen inga spår som avslöjar den hemliga buggningen.
Men även om de är tillåtna att sälja och köpa kan den som i hemlighet avlyssnar någon annan straffas hårt.
-Brottet kallas olovlig avlyssning och kan ge böter eller fängelse i högst två år, säger Alexander Lundén, jurist vid polisen i Skåne.

Jag kan ha skrivit något om detta tidigare men det dyker inte upp i skallen just nu.

Man skickar ut en typ av signal som aktiverar chippet. Det leder till att chippet ger ut all din bank information tex: typ av kort, kod, saldo(?). inte säker på mer än de 2 första..

Kort med chipp säkrare? oh nej, nu mera behöver man inte snå din plånbok. Man kan sitta på ett kaffe och trycka på sin bilnyckel ut mot folk genom rutan.
