Outfielder Jorge Soler homered in his first big league at-bat on Wednesday night off Cincinnati’s Mat Latos, a noteworthy debut for the Cubs’ 22-year-old prospect.

Soler connected on a 2-1 pitch from Latos in the second inning, hitting the ball onto the netting above the Reds bullpen in center field.
