OK, the day had come when it was time for us to move. I will be honest; It wasn’t something we had looked forward to. Not at all, to be honest. It was something that we needed to do though. There were now four of us in the family. Another mouth to feed and another person who wanted their own room soon. It was time, simple as that.

We needed somewhere to put all of our stuff while we were waiting to find our perfect house. We sold the apartment and then moved home to my parents for a few months. I didn’t like it, and then we shouldn’t talk about my wife. Anyways, we needed storage. Storage that could take all of our stuff. The interesting thing is that we didn’t expect it to be such a big problem. Now that we’ve done it, now that we have our storage, it’s almost ridiculous. What were we thinking?

So, the storage we choose was enough to carry all of our stuff from our old apartment. As we were moving in to a house about 3 times bigger than that, it wouldn’t be a problem when the day come. But before that, we were very grateful for our storage. Not to mention how grateful my parents were. You guys should have seen my mom’s face when I asked her if we could move to their house for a while. It was a rollercoaster of emotions, ending with me asking if we could use their basement as a storage.

“Wonderful! Absolutely wonderful” she said and hugged me. Then I told her about the storage situation. If looked a bit like when Gandalf gets mad at Bilbo in the first Lord of The Rings movie. Although everything around her didn’t turn dark. Storage at my parents was out of the question. It just wouldn’t happen so we did best just forgetting it.

We asked another friend of ours named Google. Google suggested some storage places. Since we never looked for this before, it was pretty surprising to us how big of a market this was. There were several different storage places. Now, we just had to find the best one. Harder than you would expect. All companies praised their storages of course. Anything else would have been surprising. We finally found one that we really liked.

Now, all of our stuff is at the storage and we look forward to moving into the house in 1,5 months.
